Health & Immunisation

YES. Evidence of up to date immunisation must be provided.

Under the "No Jab No Play" legislation (January 1, 2016), evidence of up to date immunisation must be provided within the two months prior to your child commencing at our service.

Required Documentation:

  • An Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (AIR).

Note: Other immunisation records, such as 'homeopathic immunisation' or a statutory declaration from you are not acceptable.

Immunisation History Statements are available on request at any time by accessing Medicare via your MyGov account, by calling 1800 653 809, or visiting a local Medicare service centre.

Food & Nutrition

We are a NO NUT Centre. This is because we have children and staff who have Anaphylactic reactions to these foods.

Our Food Policy excludes any food being brought into the centre. All the meals we serve are created by our own cooks in our kitchen at Sutherland Street.

We offer Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Late Snack.

The only exception is for infants who may be on formula or breast milk; parents are asked to supply this in labelled bottles.

Our Menus are created with assistance from Nutrition Australia twice a year and are displayed in the services.

Special Dietary Requirements:

We work closely with families of children who have allergies and intolerances to make sure that they have balanced, interesting and nutritious food every day.

  • Not unless the food required is difficult to source.
  • When you enrol your child, we ask for details of any allergies.
  • All of our recipes have lactose, egg and gluten free alternatives.

Fees & Attendance

No. However, 3 year old Kindergarten and Pre Prep (4-year-old Kindergarten) children receive a fee subsidy from the State government for three Kinder sessions a week.

Yes. If your child has a permanent booking on a day on which a Public Holiday falls, the family will be charged the normal fee.

However, where possible, we do offer a swap day within the same week if there is space available in the room which the child usually attends.
